The Dinky Lakes Wilderness is located in High Sierra mid way between Yosemite and Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Park.
Rolling forest, alpine granite, and pristine lakes make this neighbor to the John Muir Wilderness a true Sierra gem!
This wilderness houses 16 lakes along with Three Sisters Peak, Brown Peak and Eagle Peak which all sit over 10,000 ft elevation.
We will meet Thursday night at a hotel TBD* and leave for our hike Friday morning. The hike will be fairly short and easy into a lakes basin where we will camp for 2 nights. Saturday will be filled with a day hike and various activities and we will leave Sunday morning after we pack up and hike out.
